URL: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7736120.stm

If your baby has HIV get them started on treatments as soon as possible it can cut their risk of dying down to 4 percent. I know that if it was my child I would do everything in my power to keep my child alive and out of pain. They are to be my whole life. Hopefully this will save many babies lives.

Biggest danger for hunters? Heart attack, not stray bullet

URL: http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/conditions/10/27/hm.hunter.hazards/index.html

This is an important topic to me because I have family and close family friends who go hunting every season. I've grown up around hunting and it just seems natural to me. It never occurred to me that they could possibly not come home. The thought of even getting hit by a "stray" bullet never crossed my mind; nor did the thought of them getting a heart attack while hunting. I just hope that the next time I see them after going hunting is in a casket.

The age I'll live to be.

I took the test and it said I would live to be 78. I was surprised cause I don't think I'll live that long. But it tells me that I could live to be 114 years old, if I really tried. I think that is wayyy to old to live. I wouldn't be able to handle living to be 114 years old.

I think that everyone should get the HPV shot. It lowers your rate of getting cervical cancer. Its a scary thought to women to get cancer. I must say that from having close women in my life dying from breast cancer HPV is scary too.

Staph germs harder than ever to treat, studies say

Knowing that Staph infections are breaking out all over the place is good to know. You can die from staph infections if it gets bad enough and into your body. I thought I was bad enough as it is always washing my hands, and now I can see myself even just being more into cleaning my hands and everything all day.

'Credit crunch insomnia' emerging

URL: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7666919.stm

I totally know what people are going through I go through it every night; and it is really hard with working a forty hour week and going to school at night. You worry about money, while trying to have a social life and take care of your health. The thought of possibly losing your job at any moment is terrifying. I don't know what I would do if I lost my job. I wouldn't be able to pay for school or my car. I would be stuck living at home and basically still not having a social life because you wouldn't have money to get around or go out. Everyone needs sleep, it re-energizes the body so that you can function the next day and if you don't sleep your completely lost. There are a few tips on how to get to sleep better and I may have to take the advice on that.

Url: http://health.yahoo.com/news/ap/med_heart_patients_depression.html

I can see why heart patients would be depressed; I would be depressed too knowing that there is a large possibility that you could have a heart attack and die at any time.

Hollywood 'paid fortune to smoke'

Url: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7632963.stm

Hollywood stars were the best advertisment the tobacco firms could use. Everyone looked up to them and many people in 2008 look up to the stars now-a-days also. Not as many people are smoking now as there use to be. There is so much more known facts about what tobacco can do to you in the long run now then there was basically no known facts on how smoking cigarettes could lead to cancer or death or even just the little side affects, like we know now.

My massage on 9.23.2008

My massage on 9.23.2008 was alright. It helped me get relaxed and clear my head, but it didn't help my back in anyway. I still have back pain in my lower back and my right shoulder. I felt that when getting my massage that the pain could of been relieved if they actually took their time and put a little bit more effort into the massage knowing that the muscles would be tight.

Massage therapy may have immediate positive effect on pain and mood for advanced cancer patients

Url: http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2008-09/acop-mtm090908.php

It is shown in studies that there is improvement in pain and mood, immediately following treatment was greater with massage than with simple touch. Massage may also interupt the cycle of distress also. This may help patients feel better even when they are at their worst.

Study Finds Male Breast Cancer on the Rise

Not just women can get breat cancer. It may be more rare in males than in females but everyone should be cautious of what is going on. Males usually find the cancer when it is more dangerous. It is easier for males to find the tumor then females and the males tumors seem to be larger. Hopefully there is more tests done and more information released to the public so people can become aware of things that may happen to them.
